Accessibility Statement

Current status
Vaulted Arcades is working to improve the accessibility of vaultedarcades.com and shop.vaultedarcades.com. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as a technical reference, but we do not currently represent that either website has been fully audited, certified, or found to conform to WCAG at any particular level.

Our Approach

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review representative marketing, collection, contact, policy, product, and storefront pages; correct verified barriers where practicable; and include accessibility checks before material site changes or launch. Platform and third-party components are included in our review rather than treated as automatically compliant.

Review Performed

On July 22, 2026, we performed an automated structural review of representative Squarespace and Shopify pages. The review checked document language, page titles, headings, landmarks, skip links, image alternative text, accessible names for links and buttons, form labels, duplicate identifiers, and basic keyboard-focus styling.

Based on that review, we corrected generic Squarespace logo alternative text, added accessible names to previously unnamed category links, added a missing homepage heading for assistive technology, labeled a contact-form message field, strengthened visible keyboard-focus styling, and removed an unnamed duplicate footer link from the keyboard and accessibility trees.

Known Limitations and Work in Progress

Our review identified items that still require platform, theme, or manual testing work, including:

  • some heading sequences generated by Squarespace and Shopify templates;
  • platform-generated duplicate identifiers in certain Squarespace layout styles and Shopify collection filters;
  • a decorative Shopify hero image that does not yet include an explicit empty alternative-text attribute;
  • third-party and platform-provided controls whose complete screen-reader and keyboard behavior has not yet been manually verified; and
  • sitewide manual testing for color contrast, 200% zoom/reflow, keyboard-only operation, visible focus, touch-target size, form errors, and VoiceOver/NVDA behavior.

These items are tracked for remediation and verification before customer purchasing is enabled. Automated checks cannot identify every accessibility barrier.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports promptly. Response and remediation time will depend on the nature of the request, the affected platform, and whether a third-party provider is involved.

Ongoing Review

We plan to update this statement when material testing or remediation occurs. A qualified manual accessibility review, including assistive-technology testing, remains a launch requirement.
